Pleasant View was in gala array on Saturday evening, November 26, for the marriage of Miss Mabel Seegers, the only child of Mr. and Mrs. Ferdinand C. Seegers, to Charles Genz, Jr., of New York City. The house was decorated with laurel, ferns and chrysanthemums carrying out a color scheme of white and maize. Professor Henry W. Albright the "Bridal Chorus" from Lohengrin as the wedding party advanced, Rev. Homer S. May, pastor of the Fourth Reformed Church, performed the ceremony. The bride was attired in an imported robe of white embroidery and was attended by Miss Katharine Loeher as maid of honor, wearing a white lingerie gown over maize colored silk. Miss Ruth Fackler Miss Mary Longenecker in white and maize colored frocks, acted as ushers, and the little flower girls, Miss Erma Rathron and Evelyn Albright were attired in white with touches of maize. The best man was Fred Genz of New York. After the wedding supper, the newly married couple left for Niagara Falls for a brief honeymoon after which they wili reside in New York City.
